The GMS fleet of vessels and barges provide a wide range of services to the offshore community. The vessels are engaged in various activities including anchor handling, rig supply, seismic operations and safety stand by duties, while the Self propelled, Self Elevating Barges provide a range of work opportunities including tower and platform maintenance, well service work including coil tubing and well killing, and offshore accommodation. The company additionally has one floating accommodation barge.

GMS currently operate four Self elevating barges with a fifth under construction with completion expected in May 2008, two AHTS, three Safety Standby vessels, and two field support vessels. Future plans include larger DP2 barges capable of operating in deeper water with higher deck loads.
