Gulf Marine Services (GMS) is aware that fraudulent offers of employment may be made by individuals claiming to be employed by GMS or claiming to act as representatives of GMS. The purpose of such fraudulent offers of employment may be to obtain confidential information, or to induce people to pay a fee for services related to recruitment or for the processing of documentation, visas etc. required in the pre-employment process. It may be the case, that a fraudulent offer of employment or contact relating to potential employment, involves the names of real employees taken from our own GMS website, LinkedIn or other websites providing information about our employees.
Please note that GMS does not:
GMS interviews all prospective candidates for employment either face-to-face in our offices, by Skype, or by telephone. The recruitment process may involve a professional and reputable recruitment agency but any offer of employment will be made directly by GMS. Should you have any doubts about the authenticity of any email, letter, or telephone communication purported from, or on behalf of GMS, please contact us via the ‘Contact Us’ section on our website where the main switchboard numbers for our offices in various international locations are listed.
GMS accepts no responsibility or liability for fraudulent offers of employment made, or for any action or consequence arising from fraudulent activity in the recruitment and selection process.
